In the business climate today, doing business will
almost always involve extending credit of some kind. As a result,
it becomes necessary as a part of doing business, to collect money.
Collecting money is one of the most important functions any company
has to do. Without collecting money due for services or product provided
a company will not survive. The I.R.S. has stated the most common
reason for business failure is, failing to collect receivables. “A
sales is not complete until the money is collected.” This fundamental
truth should be the primary force in directing any business. Failure
to do so will be met with certain business failure.
The information presented in this program should help
lay an information platform to build on to be effective at collecting
money. Part of that process will involve using the courts to aid
in the collection of money due you.
When it comes to collecting you have to be tough and
tenacious. Many times there is more work in collecting your money
than actually doing the work itself. Don’t be discouraged.
Learn the skills that are necessary and they will pay handsomely.
This seminar will cover representing yourself
in “Small Claims Court.” We recommend using a qualified
Attorney for any court cases. However, because of the cost and the
reluctance of Attorneys to take small cases, representing yourself
is a viable option. It is a fairly simple
procedure, but you must learn the “ins” and “outs” to
avoid wasting your time in court.
